Right-size your EMR. Krasyn gives ambulatory practices enterprise-grade features without enterprise-grade complexity or cost.
Schedule a Migration AssessmentWhy Practices Switch from Epic
- Oversized platform with features built for large hospital systems, not clinics
- High total cost of ownership — licensing, hardware, and ongoing support fees
- Complex configuration that requires dedicated Epic-certified staff
- Slow adaptation to ambulatory-specific workflow needs
- Vendor lock-in that limits flexibility and interoperability choices
What We'll Scope for Migration
Frequently Asked Questions
Can small practices really switch away from Epic?
Yes. Ambulatory practices that do not need hospital-scale workflows can evaluate Krasyn as a focused outpatient alternative with lower operational complexity.
How is data extracted from Epic?
We scope Epic FHIR APIs, CCDA or CSV exports, and bulk-data paths where available, then map agreed categories such as demographics, medications, problem lists, allergies, notes, labs, imaging references, scheduling, and billing records.
How long does the migration take?
Epic outpatient migration timelines depend on data access, practice size, and validation scope. We use phased planning and parallel review to reduce disruption before cutover.
Will we lose access to MyChart data?
Patient portal data is scoped separately. Historical messages and records are preserved in Krasyn only when export access and the agreed migration scope support it.
What support do you provide after migration?
We define post-migration support during the assessment, including go-live assistance, workflow tuning, and staff training matched to your practice scope.
Ready to Leave Epic Behind?
Our migration specialists scope the work, validate the data, and plan the cutover so your team can keep patient care moving.
